Your images never leave your browser — everything is resized right here on your computer. Just download the result and upload it to WordPress like normal.

We only count anonymous visits and how many photos get resized (using GoatCounter, no cookies) — never the images themselves or their file names.

This is an internal tool built for McClatchy's COI Lab Sites team, shared publicly only because that's required for free hosting. It isn't an officially supported product and is provided as-is, with no warranty. It resizes and compresses whatever image you give it — it does not check, verify, or imply that you have the rights to use that image, or that it meets MCC editorial or licensing standards. Confirming image rights and approval remains your responsibility. McClatchy and/or Amanda Hamilton are not liable for how images processed through this tool are subsequently used.
